Everything is very good in Olympic Paris, we are all in high spirits. Artur Davtyan, bronze medalist of the Tokyo Olympic Games, world champion, two-time European champion, participant of the Paris Olympic Games, and leading gymnast of Armenia Artur Davtyan said this in an interview with NEWS.am Sport.

The world champion is already in Olympic Paris with Vahagn Davtyan and has conducted the first trainings.

"Everything is very good here in the Olympic capital. We arrived in the Olympic village on Sunday, July 21. We live in the Olympic village. We have already done the first trainings. It's all good, tested the gymnastics apparatuses for training.

We have walked around the Olympic city, but we haven't seen much yet.

We are all in high spirits. Only the weather is not so stable, sometimes it rains or it is sunny. The food is also good. It was not so good in the previous days, as the Olympic Games participants are still arriving. Cuisines from different countries are usually open in the Olympic village, the first two days there were relatively few, today it already seems to have increased.

The work schedule of buses transporting athletes is still not stable. Drivers are still undecided about where to go; this is purely a technical issue that will be resolved.

"The [Olympic] village’s rooms where we stay are better and more comfortable compared to Tokyo," said Artur Davtyan.
Armenia will have two participants in the gymnastics tournament of the Paris Olympic Games. Vahagn Davtyan, Armenia's leader in the Rings, two time European silver medalist, world cup winner, will also compete together with Artur Davtyan.

The gymnasts left for France on July 8, and until July 21 they were going through a training camp in the city of Rouen near Paris.

Artur Davtyan and Vahagn Davtyan will compete in Paris on July 27.

The Paris 2024 Olympic Games will be held from July 26 to August 11.
