The new German Bundesliga champions, Bayer Leverkusen, have improved the European record of unbeaten streak. They have not lost in 50 games in a row.
In the 33rd round of the Bundesliga, Leverkusen won 5-0 against Bochum and have 87 points.
On May 10, Leverkusen had broken Benfica's record for the number of consecutive unbeaten matches (49), drawing 2-2 with Roma in the second leg of the UEFA Europa League semifinals.
Atalanta will be Bayer Leverkusen's opponents in the Europa League final.
