Inter Milan's Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan commented on their Italian Serie A victory.
"It’s an unforgettable season. We’ve made history by winning the Scudetto [i.e. Serie A] in the Milan derby. Two months ago, we were already saying that it would be great to clinch the title in the derby. And, voila! We did it!" Mkhitaryan said, FCInter1908.it reported.
In the 33rd round, Inter beat city rivals Milan 2-1 and clinched their 20th Serie A title, with still five rounds to go in the current season. Inter have 86 points, while Milan, in second place, are 17 points behind.
