In the fourth round of the World Chess Federation (FIDE) Candidates Tournament 2024 being held in Toronto, Canada, the only win was achieved by Ian Nepomniachtchi, who is the current leader, with 3 points.

Fabiano Caruana and Dommaraju Gukesh are half a point, each, behind him.

The results in the fourth round were as follows:

Hikaru Nakamura (USA) vs. Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa (India): 0.5-0.5

Fabiano Caruana (USA) vs. Dommaraju Gukesh (India): 0.5-0.5

Nijat Abasov (Azerbaijan) vs. Alireza Firouzja (France): 0.5-0.5

The winner of this tournament will contest the title with the reigning champion, Ding Liren (China).
