"Granada" sacked head coach Alexander Medina

Spanish side Granada have sacked Uruguayan Alexander Medina as head coach.

"The club thanks Medina for his dedication and wishes him professional success in the future," the club said in a statement.

Alexander Medina took charge of Granada in February 2023. Before that, he worked only with South American teams.

Alexander Medina was replaced by Spaniard Jose Ramon Sandoval, who has no coaching job left after leaving Spanish Fuenlabrada in 2022.

After 28 rounds of the Spanish championship "Granada" is in the penultimate place with 14 points.
