PSG and Bayern Munich have advanced to the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League.
Current French Ligue 1 champions PSG were hosted by Real Sociedad in the second leg of the Round of 16 and won 2-1.
In the 15th minute, PSG’s French striker Kylian Mbappe opened the score. In the 56th minute, Mbappe netted his second goal. And in the 89th minute, Spanish midfielder Mikel Merino from the home team reduced the goal difference.
In the first leg, PSG had won 2-0 in Paris.
In the other match of the day, German Bundesliga titleholders Bayern Munich hosted Lazio and won 3-0.
In the 39th minute, Bayern’s English forward Harry Kane opened the score of the match. In the second added minute in the first half, Bayern's lead was doubled by German forward Thomas Muller. And in the 66th minute, Harry Kane netted his second goal.
In the first leg, Bayern Munich had lost 0-1 in Rome.
