Manchester City hosted Bayern Munich and won 3-0 (video) in the first leg of the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League.
In the other respective first leg of the day, Inter Milan were hosted by Benfica, and they beat their hosts 2-0 (video).
Midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan, the former captain of the Armenian national football squad, was in the starting team of Inter and played the entire match.
The second leg of these games will be played on April 19.
