Jurgen Klinsmann, former head coach of the German and U.S. national football teams, was appointed head coach of the South Korean national team. The contract runs until 2026. the end of the World Cup, according to the press service of the South Korean Football Federation.
The 58-year-old German specialist's previous team was Hertha Berlin, which he left in 2020. in February. Klinsmann also led Bayern Munich in 2008-2009.
South Korea will play its first match under Klinsmann on March 24 in a friendly against Colombia.
