English champion Manchester City and German Leipzig, Italian vice-champion Inter Milan and Portuguese Porto played the first matches of the 1/8 finals of the Champions League.
The Club of Milan won at home with a minimum score. Belgian forward Romelu Lukaku scored the only goal in the 86th minute.
Former Armenian captain Henrikh Mkhitaryan was named in Inter's starting line-up and was replaced on 72 minutes.
Manchester City and Leipzig did not decide the winner. The game ended 1-1.
On 27 minutes, Algerian forward Riyad Mahrez opened the scoring.
In the 70th minute, Croatia's defender Josko Gvardiol put the ball rolling for RB Leipzig.
The return leg is on March 14.
