Christian Atsu, the 31-year-old midfielder for Turkey's Hatayspor and Ghana national team, was found dead under the rubble 11 days after an earthquake in Turkey.
The player's agent, Murat Uzun Mehmet, tweeted the news.
The 31-year-old player moved to Hatayspor last year. He has also played for Porto, Chelsea, Witses, Everton, Bournemouth, Malaga, Newcastle and Al Raed in his club career.
