WR Chess Masters: Aronian draws with Keymer

In the second round of the WR Chess Masters tournament in Dusseldorf, Armenia's former chess team leader Levon Aronian (USA) drew with black pieces against Germany's Vincent Keymer. The game ended on the 30th move. Aronian scored 1.5 points and shares first place with American Wesley So.

In the first round, the Armenian Grandmaster defeated Indian Grandmaster Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa with white pieces.

Other participants are Russians Yan Nepomnyashchiy and Andrey Esipenko, Uzbek Nodirbek Abdusattorov, Dutch player Anish Giri, and Polish player Jan Krzysztof Duda.

The prize fund of the WR Chess Masters is 130 thousand euros. The winner will receive 40 thousand euros.
