Russia's Karen Khachanov, after reaching the 1/8 finals of the Australian Open, supported Artsakh, which is now under blockade by Azerbaijan.
After the match, the tennis players traditionally leave a note on the camera. Khachanov wrote: "Artsakh stay strong!!!".
In the third round, Khachanov defeated American Frances Tiafoe 6-3, 6-4, 3-6, 7-6(11-9). The tennis players spent three hours and 32 minutes on the court.
His next opponent will be Japanese Yoshihito Nishioka.
The prize fund of the Australian Open is $51.3 million.
