Barcelona to make offer to Kylian Mbappe

Spanish vice-champion Barcelona will make an offer to French champion PSG striker Kylian Mbappe next summer, Mundo Deportivo reported. The Catalan club had not previously discussed Mbappe's candidacy, as he had a verbal agreement with Real Madrid last season, but at the last minute he extended his contract with PSG for 3 years.

The 24-year-old French footballer has a disagreement with the management of the Paris club and is unhappy that the club will extend cooperation with 35-year-old Argentine striker Lionel Messi, whose current contract runs until the end of this year.

Mbappe also presented preconditions for not leaving PSG. He wants PSG to sell 30-year-old Brazilian forward Neymar and acquire Harry Kane, the 29-year-old center-forward for Tottenham and England. The third prerequisite is the appointment of Frenchman Zinedine Zidane as head coach instead of Frenchman Christophe Galtier.

PSG expects a transfer of at least 300 million euros for Mbappe.

In the current season, Mbappe participated in 20 matches for PSG, in which he scored 19 goals and made 5 assists.
