The Spanish manager of the Armenian national team, Joaquin Caparros, commented—in a post-match press conference—on the squad’s 0-2 defeat to Scotland in the second matchday of Group E in the UEFA Nations League.
"Scotland were much stronger than us. They are very strong physically. We did not have enough confidence in our strength when we had the ball. We have to draw a conclusion and prepare for the next game," Caparros said, in particular.
Armenia will play their next match in the Nations League on Saturday in Poland—and against Ukraine.
