2022 World Cup qualifiers: Portugal, North Macedonia, Wales advance to playoff  finals

Portugal, North Macedonia, and Wales have advanced to the finals of the playoffs of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

The Portuguese defeated Turkey 2-1 in the semifinals, and in the finals they will face North Macedonia, which defeated reigning European champions Italy 1-0 in their semifinals.

And Wales locked horns with Austria in their semifinals and won 2-1. In the finals, Wales' opponents will be the winner of the Scotland vs. Ukraine match. But the latter has been put off due to the war in Ukraine, and it will be played in June.
