The Armenian national team led by Joaquin Caparros defeated the Montenegro team with a minimum score in a friendly match at the Republic Stadium.
The only goal scored midfielder of the Polish Pogon Vahan Bichakhchyan in the 19th minute. The assist was made by Urartu midfielder Erik Vardanyan.
In the 83rd minute, Armenia's newcomer, 19-year-old CSKA defender Stepan Mkrtchyan got his second yellow card and was sent off the field.
The teams have met twice before, in the 2018 World Cup qualifying. Armenian team lost in Montenegro with 1-4, but won in Yerevan with 3-2.
On 29 March Armenia will play a friendly match with Norway. The game will take place in Oslo.
