In the starting round of the Spanish football championship, FC Barcelona played against Real Sociedad at home and defeated the latter 4-2.
In the 19th minute, Spanish center-back Gerard Pique scored the first goal, after which Danish forward Martin Braithwaite scored a double.

In the last minutes, the guests managed to score two goals in three minutes. Spanish forwards Julen Lobete and Mikel Oyarzabal kicked a goal to Brazilian goalkeeper Neto. However, in the added time, the Catalonian team made the score 4-2 thanks to the goal scored by Spanish winger Sergi Roberto.
There were 20,384 people in the audience at Camp Nou Stadium for the first time since March 7, 2020.
