Momiji Nishiya, 13, became the champion of Skateboarding – Women’s Street championship at the 32nd Summer Olympics Games taking place in Tokyo after scoring 14.74 points.
Brazilian Rayssa Leal, 13, scored the silver medal (14.64), while 16-year-old Japanese Funa Nakayama took the bronze.
Momiji Nishiya is the first Olympic champion in women’s skateboarding in the history of the Olympics.
The honor platform for skateboarding medalists was the youngest in the history of the Olympic Games.
