Euro 2020: Spain, Sweden play goalless draw

Spain hosted Sweden in Seville in the first round of the group stage at the 16th European Football Championship (Euro 2020)—which was postponed for a year due to the coronavirus pandemic—, and they played a goalless draw.

These national squads are in Group E, in the other first-round match of which Slovakia had defeated Poland 2-1, and they lead the current standings in this group.

In the second round of Group E, Slovakia will face Sweden on Friday, while Spain and Poland will lock horns on Saturday.
