The England national team hosted the vice-champion Croatia national team at Wembley Stadium in the first round of the group stage of the final tournament of UEFA Euro 2020.
Gareth Southgate’s team outscored its opponent with a minimum score. The English footballer’s only goal was scored by winger for Manchester City Raheem Sterling in the 57th minute. The pass for a goal was made by midfielder for Leeds Kalvin Phillips. The English footballers made 2 kicks, while the Croatians made 1.
The next match of the first round of Group D between the Scotland and Czech Republic teams will take place on June 14 in Glasgow and will kick off at 5 p.m. Armenia time.
