Right-back for Manchester City and the Portugal national team Joao Cancelo has tested positive for COVID-19 and won’t play during Euro-2020, as reported on the official website of the Football Federation of Portugal.
Cancelo doesn’t have a serious symptom, but will have to self-isolate.
Joao Cancelo will be substituted by right-back for Portugal’s U-21 team and Milan (transfer right belongs to Manchester United) Diogo Dalot.
In the group stage of Euro 2020, the Portugal national team will face Hungary on June 15, Germany on June 19 and France on June 23.
