World No. 1 Novak Djokovic has reached the semifinals of the French Open, also called Roland-Garros.
The Serbian tennis star faced Matteo Berrettini (Italy) in the quarterfinals and won in four sets. The match lasted 3 hours and 47 minutes.
For a spot to the final Djokovic will compete with World No. 3 Rafael Nadal (Spain), who defeated Diego Schwartzman (Argentina) in four sets.
Nadal is a 20-time Grand Slam singles champion and has won the Roland-Garros 13 times, which is a record.
Novak Djokovic has won 18 Grand Slam singles titles and won once at Roland-Garros—in 2016.
