PSG’s center-back Presnel Kimpembe may be banned for 10 matches after receiving a red card for naming the members of Rennes ‘a club of homosexuals’, L’equipe reports. The phrase is viewed as discriminatory.
During the match of the 36th leg of the French football championship, Kimpembe was removed from the field for rough sledding and has already been banned for three games.
The Rennes-PSG match ended with a tie (1-1). Two rounds before the end of the championship, PSG are in second place with 76 points and are behind the leading Lille by 3 points. Monaco are in third place with 74 points.
