Armenia team tie match with Lithuania, win second place

The Our Game Women’s International Friendly Tournament, which was held in Armenia for the first time, ended with the Lithuanian team’s victor.

In the last round, the Armenia national team competed with the Lithuania team at Pyunik Stadium in Yerevan and tied the match 2-2.

In the fifth minute, Rimante Jonusaite stood out among the members of the Lithuanian team. In the 49^th minute, Olga Osipyan tied the score. In the 69^th minute, Lyusya Vajtukajtite scored a goal for the Lithuanian team. In the 82^nd minute, Nancy Avesyan made an 11-meter kick for the Armenia team.

The Armenia team won second place with 5 points. In the previous two games, Armenia’s team beat Lebanon 2-0 and tied the match with Jordan (1-1).

In the previous rounds, Lithuania beat Jordan 1-0 and Lebanon 7-1 and ended the tournament with 6 points.

During the other game of the last round, the Jordan team beat Lebanon 6-0 and scored 4 points.
