With 93 “in favor” and 1 “against”, Thomas Bach, 67, was reelected President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) during the 137th Session of the IOC and was the only German candidate, as reported on the official website of the organization.
Thomas Bach will serve until 2025. The champion of the 1976 Olympic Games (fencing) has been president of the IOC since September 2013.
