Inter are threatened with a EUR 50 million fine for non-paying the 5 million euro bonus provided by the transfer contract of Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United, Italian Corriere dello Sport reported.
Inter bought Lukaku in 2019 for EUR 74 million. The club did not pay the EUR 5 million bonus within the stipulated period.
Manchester United have already filed a complaint but stated that instead of 50 million euros, it has agreed to receive the transfer rights of Inter's Lautaro Martinez & Milan Skriniar.
