Manuel Pellegrini headed Real Betis. The parties have signed a three-year deal, Football Espana reported.
"The Chilean is well-respected within Spanish football having enjoyed stints at the helm of Villarreal, Real Madrid and Malaga," the edition noted.
The 66-year-old coach will replace Alexis Trujillo after the end of this season, the club's official website reported.
