Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has repeated the record of the club’s former player Alessandro Del Piero in the number of matches played with Juventus in the Italian Serie A.
The match against Udinese became the 478th in the Serie A for 41-year-old Buffon as a Juventus player. Buffon has played a total of 646 matches so far in Serie A.
The record holder is former Milan player Paolo Maldini with 647 appearances.
