National Greco-Roman wrestling team head coach will not run in Armenia’s parliamentary elections

YEREVAN. – Armenia’s national Greco-Roman wrestling team head coach Levon Julfalakyan will not take part in the campaigns for the country’s upcoming parliamentary elections. Julfalakyan himself informed this during a press conference on Wednesday.

“We, including myself, remain distant from politics. We truly hope that the political force, which will do good things for the country, will win. Let there be an honest and a fair competition between the MPs.

We try not to get involved in political events, and in politics, in general. We have our job and we already have proved, with our job, that we are doing a good job. And let the politicians deal with politics. If every one of them does his/her job well, our country will flourish, [and] prosper,” Levon Julfalakyan stated.
