Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola said he wants to lead the national team, ronaldo.com reported.
"I would like to be an international manager in a national team. I would like that, yes," Guardiola said, according to Omnisport. "It will happen because every three days I would like to be involved but a little bit more calm, play more golf. Now, I don’t have time to play. Sooner or later it is going to happen, if I have a chance with an international team, if they come knocking at my door."
Pep Guardiola has been heading Manchester City since 2016. The contract of the 48-year-old specialist with the English club is scheduled for summer of 2021.
Guardiola headed Barcelona from 2008 to 2012 and from 2013 to 2016 he lead Bayern Munich.
