ALMATY. – The national football team of Kazakhstan played a friendly match against Kyrgyzstan, in the Kazakh capital city Almaty, and defeated the Kyrgyz by a score of 5-2. Following the game, the Kazakh squad’s head coach Miroslav Beránek announced that next time his team will play against a more serious opponent.
To note, Armenia’s national squad will host Kazakhstan in a friendly, which will be played in the capital, Yerevan, on June 5.
“We do not wish to bring not-fully-healthy footballers into the pitch in Yerevan. The young players are showing that they can be among the best. Now, a more challenging opponent, Armenia, is awaiting us,” said Miroslav Beránek, Sportinfo.kz informs.
