Ramzan Kadyrov, who is Head of the Chechen Republic of the Russian Federation and Chairman of FC Terek Grozny (Russia), extended condolences to the family and friends of 19-year-old Russian-Armenian football player Grisha Simonyan, who has died.
“Learning about his story, many were not apathetic.“The Terek football club signed a professional contract with him. We sent Grisha to Germany for treatment; provided the necessary assistance.“Grisha underwent surgery recently, and he was in artificial coma; they were fighting for his life,” Kadyrov specifically wrote on Instagram.
Simonyan had sustained a head injury in a football match four years ago. Subsequently, he was diagnosed with brain cancer.
