World number one Novak Djokovic has reached the semifinals of the Paris Masters tournament. The Serbian defeated Denmark's Holger Rune, seventh in the world rankings, 7:5, 6:7 (3:7), 6:4.
Djokovic's next opponent will be the winner of the clash between Alex de Minaur (Australia, 13) and Andrey Rublev (Russia, 5).
The other semifinal pairing is Stefanos Tsitsipas (Greece, 6) and Grigor Dimitrov (Bulgaria, 17).
The semifinal matches will be played on November 4, with the final on November 5.
The prize fund of the Paris Masters is 5.7 million euros.
