At the group stage of the 2019 IIHF World Championship in Slovakia, the Russian team defeated the Italians 10-0. It was the biggest victory in the history of the Russian national squad. The Italian team missed 30 pucks in four games.
Earlier, the Russians managed to win four times with a difference of nine goals.
The World Championship will end on May 26. The champion title is defended by the Swedish team.
