Ajax played host to Tottenham Hotspur in their second leg of the UEFA Champions League semifinals, in Amsterdam, but lost to their guests by a score of 2-3.
As a result, the London football club advanced to the Champions League final for the first time in history.
In the first leg at home, however, the Spurs were defeated by their guests 1-0, but they have made it to the final on away goals.
In the Champions League all-England final that will be played in Madrid on June 1, Tottenham will face Liverpool which eliminated Barcelona in their semifinal clash.
