Montpellier HSC and the team’s head coach, former member of the Armenian national football team Michel Der Zakarian have extended their contract until 2021.
“I am proud that the football club’s president trusted me. Our journey continues,” Der Zakarian said, cites the football club’s official website.
Der Zakarian, 56, has been coaching Montpellier HSC since May 2017. In the past season, the team won 10th place in the French championship. In the current championship, Montpellier was in 6th place with 51 points after 33 matches.
