Edin Džeko: Match against Armenia will be special for me

Roma striker, Bosnia and Herzegovina national team player Edin Džeko shared his expectations the match of the first round of the EURO 2020 qualifying tournament between the national teams of Armenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, NEWS.am Sport reported.

“This is a very important match because I will play with the national team T-shirt for the 100th time.

Therefore, the match against the Armenian team will be special for me and will always remain in my heart.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan is a very good football player. He is the best in Armenia. The fact that he plays for Arsenal, and previously played for Borussia Dortmund, says a lot. I hope Mkhitaryan will not create problems for us in tomorrow's match, ”said Edin Džeko.

The match will be officiated by Jakob Kelet. It will kick off at 11։45 pm Yerevan time.

Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Greece and Lichtenstein are playing in Group J.

Armenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina faced each other in World Cup 2010 qualifying round. The Bosnian team defeated Armenia 2-0 in Yerevan and 4-0 in Sarajevo.
