Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Čech has taken upon himself the accountability for their 1-2 loss in their English Premier League clash against Brighton.
As a result, the Gunners have suffered their fourth consecutive defeat ever since 2002.
“If you want to win a game away of home in the best league in the world your GK can’t concede 2 goals like I did today ... it’s simply not possible,” the Czech netkeeper tweeted. “The team fought back but the damage was done.”
In Sunday’s match at Brighton, 29-year-old Armenia midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan started for Arsenal, and he was on the pitch for 83 minutes.
