Armenia coach: We do not have problems with motivation

Armenia international coach Arthur Petrosyan admitted that Armenia always have problems while defending, although he prefers playing with four defenders.

“However, we choose the tactics focusing on the opponent. If there is not one player, the other should take advantage of his chance and help the team,” Petrosyan said during a pre-match World Cup qualifying match against Armenia.

The coach said it is very “difficult to keep Lewandowski”, but his players need to solve this problem to succeed.

“The decision about my future in the national team will be made after the upcoming games. The team does not need motivation. The match against Poland is motivation in itself. If we defeat the Polish, it will be a great success,” the manager added.

Armenia vs. Poland World Cup qualifying match will start at 8p.m. at on Thursday. Poland defeated Armenia 2-1 in the first match. Armenia has lost the chance to qualify to the World Cup, while Poland is the leader of Group E.
