Karapet Chalyan (Armenia) on Sunday won a gold medal at an international wrestling tournament that wrapped up in Tbilisi, the capital city of Georgia.
Chalyan had no equal in the 75kg Greco-Roman wrestling competition.
On the first day of this event, Armenia’s Greco-Roman wrestler Maksim Manukyan became a silver medalist in the 80kg contest.
Separately, Valodya Frangulyan won a gold medal in the 65kg event in the freestyle wrestling competition, and Narek Sirunyan became a bronze medalist.
Also, Grigor Grigoryan won a silver medal in the 74kg competition, and Garik Barseghyan became a bronze medalist in the 57kg event.
