2018 World Cup qualifiers: Warsaw stadium applauds after Armenia national anthem

WARSAW. – The National Stadium in Warsaw performed the Polish national anthem with a spectacular display, before the 2018 World Cup qualifier kick-off between the national football squads of Poland and Armenia, the NEWS.am Sport correspondent reported from the Polish capital city.

In addition, the Polish fans in the stadium applauded at the end of the national anthem of Armenia.
A total of 44,786 fans were in attendance to the match.

As reported earlier, the host nation achieved a difficult win by a score of 2-1, with their winning goal coming in the last minute of injury time.

Furthermore, Armenia were down to ten men in the 30th minute of the match, and just like in their previous game against Romania. Nonetheless, they managed to score their first goal in the qualifiers. But the national team suffered their third consecutive defeat in their 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
