Reining world football champions Germany played against Poland in Paris, but they had to settle for a goalless draw at Thursday’s Group C second-round match in Euro 2016 football tournament, which France is hosting.
As a result, the first goalless draw was recorded at this event.
In the first round in this group, Poland had beaten Northern Ireland, and Germany had defeated Ukraine, which will not make it to the playoffs.
At the final-round matches in Group C on June 21, Germany will lock horns with Northern Ireland, and Poland will kick off against Ukraine.
