YEREVAN. – The international half marathon (21km), in which world and European football champion and French Armenian football legend Youri Djorkaeff is also participating, kicked off Saturday morning in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan.
Djorkaeff’s two brothers are also taking part in the run.
The NEWS.am Sport reporter on the scene informed that the France former international stated that he is always ready for such events. He said the important thing is that he is participating in this half marathon together with children and the youth, and added that it is very important to come up here and run.
The 2.1km children’s run is already over, and Djorkaeff also ran with the kids.
