Armenia placed fifth in the taekwondo team tournament at the 28th Summer Universiade being held in Gwangju, South Korea.
In the 1/16 and 1/8 finals, Armenia defeated Venezuela and Mexico, respectively.
In the quarterfinals, however, the Armenian athletes lost to Cyprus, and therefore they had to settle for the fifth place.
