The fifth-round games in the 2013/14 season of Russian Premier League football kicked off with the match between FC Ural Yekaterinburg and FC Amkar Perm.
The game ended in a scoreless draw.
Armenian national squad and Ural forwards Arthur Sarkisov and Edgar Manucharyan were in the starting eleven of their club and they played virtually the entire game, but they were unable to stand out.
Manucharyan and Sarkisov were substituted in the 80th and the 87th minutes, respectively.
FC Ural Yekaterinburg defender Denis Tumasyan, who is of Armenian decent, was in the team’s starting lineup, too, but he played the full ninety minutes.
