The Armenian boxers are still competing in the 2013 European Youth Boxing Championships which are wrapping up in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
Gor Jerelikyan (69 kg) advanced to the final by defeating Vincenzo Scannapieco (Italy) in the semifinals.
In the gold medal fight, Jerelikyan will face Tamerlan Magomedov (Russia).
Armenia’s Henrik Sargsyan (81 kg), on the other hand, lost to Ádám Hámori (Hungary) in the semifinals, and therefore he had to settle for a bronze medal.
