The 2012-2013 season of the Russian Premier League football had two top scorers.
Armenian national team and FC Spartak Moscow forward Yura Movsisyan, and FC Krasnodar’s Brazilian midfielder/striker, Wánderson, shared this achievement by scoring 13 goals, apiece.
Movsisyan, 25, netted one of his goals from a penalty shot. It took the Armenian international 21 games to score these goals, whereas the Brazilian netted his goals in 22 matches.
In addition, Armenian national football squad and Russia’s FC Kuban Krasnodar midfielder Aras Ozbilis scored 9 goals for his club and, as a result, he shared 11th to 14th spots with other players.
