I am so happy that my Nantes made it to the French Ligue 1, FC Nantes Manager, Armenian national football team former player Michel Der Zakarian stated.

In a Ligue 2 regular season match, Der Zakarian’s team defeated CS Sedan by a score of 1-0 and, as a result, it clinched second place in Ligue 2 and advanced to Ligue 1, one match remaining to the end of the current season, France Football reports. 

“I am happy and joyful. I am happy for the entire club. The players carried out my instructions, and the club management did not hinder my work and completely trusted me. I also thank my wife, who bore with me and my nerves,” Michel Der Zakarian said, in particular.
