Movsisyan matches Spartak’s playing style perfectly – Krasnodar boss

I wish success to Armenian national football squad and Russia’s FC Spartak Moscow’s newly acquired forward Yura Movsisyan, stated Slavoljub Muslin, the manager of Movsisyan’s former club, FC Krasnodar.

The Serbian specialist reflected on Movsisyan’s, 25, starting performances at Spartak. 

“I watched all of Spartak’s three games that Yura played. Movsisyan showed an excellent performance in the first game, but he has yet to adapt to the game of the new team. Yura still must acquire a good physical form because he had sustained an injury during the preparation phase for the second part of the season.

“I do not doubt Movsisyan’s quality of play. He matches Spartak’s playing style perfectly. I wish success to Yura, and I hope that he becomes the [Russian Premier] League’s top scorer, but only after [Krasnodar’s Brazilian midfielder/striker] Wánderson.

“Movsisyan wanted to play, from the very beginning, in a club that will fight for championship and for Europe League qualification; that is why we let him go,” Sportsdaily.ru quotes Muslin as saying.

At present, Yura Movsisyan is the top scorer, with 12 goals, in the current season of the Russian Premier League.
