FC Anzhi Makhachkala—the football team whose captain is Samuel Eto’o, whose sporting director is Roberto Carlos, and whose president is also the president of the Republic of Dagestan, Russia—wants to sign Spanish national team and FC Barcelona player Victor Valdés as its starting goalkeeper. The Russian side has already contacted Valdés, Marca reports.
The Russian club is prepared to pay Valdés €10 million per season, an amount that could increase to €12 million based on bonuses, for two years.
Earlier, Victor Valdés, 31, had announced about his decision to leave Barça.
